About Just A Little Technical
The Mission
Just A Little Technical helps small teams, creator-operators, and practical technologists make better technical decisions with calm, useful guidance that turns complexity into systems they can actually run.
Who Am I?
I’m Mike, and I’ve spent years building infrastructure, automating operations, and debugging the systems that keep businesses running. I’ve learned that the most important technical decisions aren’t about choosing the fanciest tool — they’re about understanding tradeoffs and building things that don’t require a PhD to operate.
The Approach
The goal isn’t more moving parts. It’s fewer surprises.
I believe in:
- Practical over perfect — boring systems that run reliably beat clever systems that break at 2 a.m.
- Documented tradeoffs — every tool has costs; the best decision is an informed one
- Plain English — if it sounds like a keynote, we can say it simpler
- Runbooks over heroics — good automation reduces human drama, not replaces it

Let’s Work Together
If you’re building systems that need to work reliably without requiring constant heroics, let’s talk.
